It also organized subregional workshops on report-writing, in Dakar (September 2007) and Gaborone (November 2007), to assist Member States in complying with their reporting obligations to the three Security Council committees dealing with counter-terrorism.

With reference to the discussion in the General Assembly relating to the effective implementation of international instruments on human rights, including reporting obligations under those instruments, and the effective functioning of the treaty bodies, the Committee noted with satisfaction that the Assembly had once again stressed the importance of compliance by States parties with their reporting obligations.
٠٣ - وبالنسبة للمناقشة العامة التي دارت في الجمعية العامة حول التنفيذ الفعال للصكوك الدولية المتعلقة بحقوق اﻹنسان، بما في ذلك التزامات تقديم التقارير، وحسن سير عمل الهيئات المنشأة بموجب هذه الصكوك، لاحظت اللجنة بارتياح أن الجمعية العامة عادت الى التأكيد على أهمية امتثال الدول اﻷطراف لالتزاماتها بشأن تقديم التقارير.

4. Welcomes the work of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, and calls upon all States to strengthen their cooperation with the Committee, to comply in a timely manner with their reporting obligations under the Convention and the Optional Protocols thereto, in accordance with the guidelines elaborated by the Committee, and to take into account its recommendations on implementation of the Convention;
4 - ترحب بعمل لجنة حقوق الطفل، وتهيب بجميع الدول أن تعزز تعاونها مع اللجنة، وأن تفي في الوقت المناسب بالالتزامات الواقعة عليها فيما يتعلق بتقديم التقارير بموجب الاتفاقية وبروتوكوليها الاختياريين، وفقا للمبادئ التوجيهية التي وضعتها اللجنة، وأن تراعي توصيات اللجنة بشأن تنفيذ الاتفاقية؛

For the period 1986 - 2005, all Parties are in compliance with their reporting obligations under paragraph 3 of Article 7.
