Moreover, the Government decided, with the support of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, to revise its existing law on the protection of women against violence in the Central African Republic to include the protection of children against all forms of sexual and gender-based violence.

٣- تذكر الحكومات بأن تزويد المرأة بالموارد القانونية وبالمعلومات والتعليم في مجال حقوق اﻹنسان أمر له أهمية حاسمة في مواجهة العنف الذي تواجهه فيما يتصل بالسكن، وفي سن وتنفيذ قوانين وسياسات تحمي المرأة من العنف في هذا الصدد؛

Concerning the measures introduced to protect women against violence in the home, the representative said that a pilot project entitled " Support to battered women " had been launched by the Ministry of Women's Affairs to provide shelter and legal assistance for battered women.
وفيما يتعلق بالتدابير التي استحدثت لحماية المرأة من العنف في المنزل، قال الممثل ان وزارة شؤون المرأة قد باشرت مشروعا نموذجيا بعنوان " نصرة المرأة المتأذية " بهدف توفير المأوى وتقديم المساعدة القانونية الى المرأة المتأذية.
