After the completion of the feasibility study, a special meeting was organized in March 2000 by the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women and the Director of INSTRAW where the head consultant presented the major findings of this study to the major donors and the other interested parties who attended.
