In its resolution 1999/41, the Commission on Human Rights requested that the joint work plan continue to reflect all aspects of work under way and identify where obstacles/impediments existed and areas for further collaboration, and that it be made available to the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-fifth session and to the Commission on the Status of Women at its forty-fourth session.
وطلبت لجنة حقوق الإنسان، في قرارها 1999/41 أن تظل خطة العمل المشتركة تعكس جوانب العمل الجاري كافة وتحدد مكامن العراقيل والعقبات والمجالات التي يمكن زيادة التعاون فيها، وأن تتاح الخطة للجنة حقوق الإنسان في دورتها الخامسة والخمسين وللجنة مركز المرأة في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين.

The Commission requested the Secretary-General to prepare, taking into account the information provided by Member States and relevant international organizations, a report on the implementation of resolution 43/1 for submission to the Commission on the Status of Women at its forty-fourth session.
وطلبت اللجنة إلى الأمين العام أن يقوم، آخذا في الاعتبار المعلومات المقدمة من الدول الأعضاء والمنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة، بإعداد تقرير عن تنفيذ القرار 43/1 لعرضه على لجنة مركز المرأة في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين.

4. The assessment of the current plan for the period 1996-2001 was submitted to the Commission on the Status of Women at its forty-fourth session (E/CN.6/2000/3) and is before the Council in accordance with its resolution 1999/16.

674. Concerning the issue of reporting to treaty bodies, Guinea-Bissau had submitted combined initial, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth periodic reports to the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women at its forty-fourth session, at the Committee's request.
674- أما بخصوص مسألة تقديم تقارير إلى هيئات المعاهدات فقد قدّمت غينيا - بيساو تقريراً موحَّداً يضم التقارير الدولية الأول والثاني والثالث والرابع والخامس والسادس إلى اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين نزولاً عند طلب اللجنة.

6. In addition, the present report includes an addendum, section V (E/CN.6/2000/2/Add.1), which responds to the request made by the Commission on Human Rights in its resolution 1999/41 and by the Commission on the Status of Women in its resolution 39/5 that a joint work plan be made available to the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-fifth session and to the Commission on the Status of Women at its forty-fourth session.

3. The present report provides an update of developments that have taken place since the submission of the reports of the Secretary-General to the General Assembly at its fifty-fourth session (A/54/264), the Commission on the Status of Women at its forty-fourth session (E/CN.6/2000/2) and the Economic and Social Council at its substantive session of 2000 (E/2000/77).

36. At its 5th meeting, on 20 April, the Preparatory Committee also agreed to annex to its report on its third session the summary of the general debate held by the Commission on the Status of Women at its forty-fourth session on agenda items 3 and 4 of that session, which related to agenda item 2 of the third session of the Preparatory Committee (see annex I).
36 - وفي الجلسة الخامسة، المعقودة في 20 نيسان/أبريل، وافقت اللجنة التحضيرية أيضا على أن ترفق بتقريرها عن دورتها الثالثة موجزا للمناقشة العامة التي أجرتها لجنة مركز المرأة في دورتها الرابعة والأربعين بشأن البندين 3 و 4 من جدول أعمال تلك الدورة، اللذين يتصلان بالبند 2 من جدول أعمال الدورة الثالثة للجنة التحضيرية (انظر المرفق الأول).
