Her delegation supported the activities of the working group on the issue of discrimination against women in law and in practice and the extension until 2014 of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children.
وأضافت إن وفدها يدعم أنشطة الفريق العامل المعني بمسألة التمييز ضد المرأة في القانون وفي الممارسة وتمديد ولاية المقرر الخاص المعني بالاتجار بالأشخاص، لا سيما النساء والأطفال، إلى عام 2014.

My delegation welcomes the establishment of the two special procedures mandates, the post of special rapporteur on the right of freedom of association and of assembly and the working group on the elimination of discrimination against women in law and in practice.
ويرحب وفدي بإنشاء الولايتين الإجرائيتين الخاصتين، وبوظيفة المقرر الخاص المعني بحق في تكوين الجمعيات والتجمعات، وبالفريق العامل المعني بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في القانون وفي الممارسة.

Regarding the strengthening of the system of special procedures, the decision to appoint a special rapporteur on the rights to freedom of assembly and of association should be mentioned, as should the establishment of a working group of experts on the elimination of discrimination against women in law and in practice.
أما فيما يتعلق بتعزيز نظام الإجراءات الخاصة، فمما يجدر ذكره قرار تعيين مقرر خاص معني بالحق في حرية التجمع والحق في تكوين الجمعيات، وينبغي أيضا إنشاء فريق خبراء عامل للقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة في القانون وفي الممارسة.

(c) The expert consultation on gender and religious freedom, held in Geneva on 17 and 18 January 2013 by the Working Group on the issue of discrimination against women in law and in practice and the Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, was attended by Ms. Gaer;
