The Division for the Advancement of Women will continue its efforts to ensure universal ratification of the Convention and its optional protocol and provide support to the work of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women in reviewing the reports of States Parties, as well as in the complaints and inquiry procedure of the optional protocol.
