16.3 The General Assembly, in its resolution 60/248 X, welcomed the workplan on reform of ECE adopted by the Commission, decided that the Commission should implement the adopted measures outlined in its decision and, to that end, requested the Secretary-General to allocate the requisite resources within section 19, Economic development in Europe, of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2006-2007.
16-3 ورحبت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 60/248، عاشرا، ببرنامج العمل المتعلق بإصلاح اللجنة الاقتصادية لأوروبا الذي اعتمدته اللجنة، وقررت أنه ينبغي للجنة أن تنفذ التدابير المعتمدة المبينة في مقررها، ولهذه الغاية طلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يخصص الموارد اللازمة في إطار الباب 19، التنمية الاقتصادية في أوروبا، من الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة لفترة السنتين 2006-2007.

1. Endorses the workplan on reform of the Economic Commission for Europe,1 as set out in annex I of the present resolution;
