The Special Rapporteur encourages the Government to keep her informed of all developments in this regard, with a view to ensuring that all amendments are in keeping with international human rights standards.
وتشجع المقررة الخاصة الحكومة على مواصلة إطلاعها على ما يستجد من تطورات في هذا الصدد، بغية ضمان أن تكون جميع التعديلات متوافقة مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان.

1. The need to bring prevailing legislation, draft legislation that has already been tabled and new draft legislation into line with international human rights standards and to provide advice on the application and implementation of international conventions and covenants.
1- ضرورة ملائمة التشريعات النافذة مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان وأيضاً مشروعات القوانين المقترحة والمشروعات الجديدة وتقديم المشورة في مجال تطبيق وتنفيذ المواثيق الدولية.

5. Invite Governments to accede to, and comply with, international human rights treaties and conventions and to pass laws that are consistent with international human rights standards.
5- دعوة الحكومات للانضمام للمعاهدات والمواثيق الدولية لحقوق الإنسان والالتزام بها، وتفعيل القوانين بما يتفق مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان.

The Government should regularly monitor and evaluate the NPA with the participation of all stakeholders and in consonance with international human rights standards that promote respect for the rights of trafficked persons.
وينبغي للحكومة رصد خطة العمل وتقييمها على نحو منتظم بمشاركة جميع أصحاب المصلحة، ووفقاً للمعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان التي تدعو إلى احترام حقوق الأشخاص المتجر بهم.

It verifies compliance with international human rights standards in correction centres, detention facilities and all general security units which can affect human rights;
ومحاسبة من يثبت بحقه جرم إساءة استعمال السلطة أو التعسف في ممارسة الحق، وللتأكد من تطبيق المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان في مراكز الإصلاح وأماكن الاحتجاز وكافة وحدات الأمن العام التي لها مساس بحقوق الإنسان؛

رابعاً - تعزيز العمل المتعلق بضمان ملاءمة التشريعات الوطنية مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان ومتابعة تنفيذ توصيات الهيئات المنبثقة عن المعاهدات والإجراءات الخاصة بالإضافة إلى الملاحظات الصادرة عن مجلس حقوق الإنسان؛

20. A judicial process in closed sessions, before a Special Court, without explicit reasons, on common criminal charges, did not appear consistent with the principles and norms contained in the Universal declaration of Human Rights nor with the international human rights standards.
20- وإن اتخاذ الإجراء القضائي ضمن جلسات مغلقة، أمام محكمة خاصة، ودون تقديم أسباب واضحة بشأن التهم الجنائية عموماً، لا يبدو أنه يتفق مع المبادئ والمعايير الواردة في الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان ولا مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان.

19. Switzerland highlighted Canada's role in implementing international human rights standards, recommending that Canada a) continue its efforts to bring its system of security certificates concerning immigration into compliance with international human rights standards.
19- أما سويسرا، فقد أبرزت دور كندا في تنفيذ المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان، موصية كندا (أ) بأن تواصل ما تبذله من جهود لجعل نظامها الخاص بالشهادات الأمنية المتعلقة بالهجرة متوافقاً مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان.
