41- كما يُسِّر أحد تدابير التصدّي للإرهاب استناداً إلى سيادة القانون من خلال إعداد أدوات للمساعدة التقنية المتخصصة، مثل ملخص للقضايا للممارسين في مجال مكافحة الإرهاب، يهدف إلى تزويد مسؤولي العدالة الجنائية وشرطة التحرّيات والمسؤولين ذوي الصلة عن رسم السياسات العامة بمنظورات ورؤى عملية.

In this context, it was also emphasized that there was a need to develop and disseminate among Member States technical assistance tools for enhancing mutual legal assistance and extradition in order to address obstacles and weaknesses faced by Member States in those areas.

The model legislative provisions will be utilized by UNODC as technical assistance tools to provide advisory services and assistance to countries to facilitate the review, revision or drafting of new legislation to combat falsified medicines.

In that resolution, the Conference also requested UNODC to continue developing technical assistance tools with a high degree of added value, such as handbooks, digests of relevant case law and legal commentaries, with regard to the instruments as a whole and to particular issues such as mutual legal assistance and confiscation.

In close cooperation with and with the support of individual Member States and donors, the Branch has also developed thematically focused technical assistance tools.
17- كما استحدث الفرع، بالتعاون الوثيق مع الدول الأعضاء والجهات المانحة كلٌّ على حدة وبدعم منها، أدوات للمساعدة التقنية تركِّز على مواضيع بعينها.

9. Commends the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for its development of technical assistance tools to facilitate international cooperation in criminal matters, and invites Member States in appropriate cases to avail themselves of those tools;

34. UNODC, subject to the availability of extrabudgetary resources, should continue the development of technical assistance tools, for the Convention and the Protocols thereto and on specialized issues, including mutual legal assistance and extradition.
