5 - يُقيّم اجتماع الدول الأطراف أو مؤتمر الاستعراض الطلب، مراعيا العوامل المشار إليها في الفقرة 4 من هذه المادة، ويتخذ قرارا بأغلبية أصوات الدول الأطراف الحاضرة والمصوتة بشأن قبول طلب التمديد.

If all efforts at consensus have been exhausted and no agreement has been reached, the amendment shall, as a last resort, require for its adoption a two-thirds majority vote of the States Parties present and voting at the meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
واذا ما استنفدت كل الجهود الرامية الى تحقيق توافق الآراء دون أن يتسنى التوصل الى اتفاق، يتعين، كملاذ أخير، لأجل اعتماد التعديل، اشتراط التصويت له بأغلبية ثلثي أصوات الدول الأطراف الحاضرة والمصوتة في اجتماع مؤتمر الأطراف.

If all efforts at consensus have been exhausted and no agreement has been reached, the amendment shall, as a last resort, require for its adoption a two-thirds majority vote of the States Parties to this Protocol present and voting at the meeting of the Conference of the Parties.

13- بعد تقييم فترة التمديد، على الدول الأطراف أن " تتخذ قراراً بأغلبية أصوات الدول الأطراف الحاضرة والمصوِّتة بشأن قبول طلب فترة التمديد " ، وفقاً للفقرة 5 من المادة 5.

10. The candidates who receive an absolute majority of the votes of States Members of the United Nations and of the non-member States maintaining permanent observer missions at United Nations Headquarters shall be declared elected (art. 13, subpara. 2 (d), of the Statute).
١٠ - يعلن انتخاب المرشحين الذين يحصلون على أغلبية مطلقة من أصوات الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة والدول غير اﻷعضاء التـي تحتفظ ببعثــات مراقبــة دائمة في مقر اﻷمم المتحــدة )الفقــرة الفرعية ٢ )د( من المادة ١٣ من النظام اﻷساسي(.

7. 7 - يُقيّم اجتماع الدول الأطراف أو مؤتمر الاستعراض الطلب، مراعيا العوامل المشار إليها في الفقرة 6 من هذه المادة، بما فيها، في جملة أمور، كميات مخلفات الذخائر العنقودية المبلغ عنها، ويتخذ قرارا بأغلبية أصوات الدول الأطراف الحاضرة والمصوتة بشأن قبول طلب التمديد.

13.
