15. The Independent Audit Advisory Committee was informed of the decision to reduce the evaluation cycle from 11-13 years to 8 years, as approved by the Committee for Programme and Coordination in the strategic framework for the period 2012-2013 and by the General Assembly in its resolution 65/244.
