279. The Convention on Migratory Species of Wild Animals is collaborating and has agreed joint work programmes with a number of other convention secretariats, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, which include capacity-building activities.
279 - وتتعاون اتفاقية حفظ أنواع الحيوانات البرية المهاجرة مع عدد من أمانات الاتفاقيات الأخرى والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية، وقد اتفقت معها على برامج عمل مشتركة تشمل أنشطة لبناء القدرات.

It will strengthen relationships with the secretariats of other relevant conventions such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), international financial institutions and other intergovernmental organizations, in order to implement the Convention efficiently and avoid duplication of work.

The measures taken by the secretariats of other conventions include reminding Parties of the decisions on late payment adopted by the conferences of the Parties, sending reminders that contributions are due and regularly posting information on convention websites on the status of contributions and penalties for failure to pay such as the loss of voting rights and eligibility for funding to attend meetings.
وتشمل التدابير التي اتخذتها أمانات الاتفاقيات الأخرى استرعاء اهتمام الأطراف إلى المقررات بشأن تأخر السداد التي اعتمدتها مؤتمرات الأطراف، وإرسال خطابات للتذكير بأنّ الاشتراكات أصبحت مستحقة ونشر معلومات بصورة منتظمة على المواقع الشبكية للاتفاقيات عن حالة الاشتراكات وجزاءات التأخّر في السداد مثل فقدان حقوق التصويت واستحقاق التمويل لحضور الاجتماعات.

The SBSTA welcomed the efforts of the secretariat to explore possible ways of cooperating with the secretariats of other conventions, in particular the UNCCD and the CBD, in order to strengthen cooperation on issues of common interest, bearing in mind the relevant decisions of the COP.

34- يطلب إلى الأمين التنفيذي أن يقدم إلى الدورة الثامنة لمؤتمر الأطراف تقريراً عن تطورات التعاون الإداري الحالي والمستمر مع أمانات الاتفاقيات الأخرى ومنظمات الأمم المتحدة الموجودة في بون؛

Broad public information activities have strengthened the relationships with the secretariats of other relevant conventions, particularly the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), and with international financial institutions, other intergovernmental organizations, governments, academia and the private sector.
36- عززت الأنشطة الإعلامية واسعة النطاق العلاقات مع أمانات الاتفاقيات الأخرى ذات الصلة وبوجه خاص اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ والاتفاقية المتعلقة بالتنوع البيولوجي ومع المؤسسات المالية الدولية وغيرها من المنظمات الحكومية الدولية ومع الحكومات والأوساط الأكاديمية والقطاع الخاص.
