This initiative is undertaken within the framework of the action plan developed by the ECOWAS secretariat with a view to facilitating the cross-border movements of people and goods through appropriate road transportation measures, which is carried out in collaboration with the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), the African Development Bank, the World Bank, EU and other development partners.
