3. In resolution 48/108, the General Assembly decided that the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women would be responsible for the receipt and preliminary evaluation of requests from non-governmental organizations for accreditation.
٣ - وفي القرار ٤٨/١٠٨، قررت الجمعية العامة أن تكون أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة مسؤولة عن استلام الطلبات المقدمة من المنظمات غير الحكومية لاعتمادها وعن التقييم اﻷولي لهذه الطلبات.

7. The representative of the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women also made a statement.
٧ - وأدلى ببيان أيضا ممثل أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة.

The Committee also adopted a recommendation by which it decided to transmit the content of the general discussion on the girl child to the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women, with a view to ensuring that particular emphasis was given to the priority measures discussed.
واعتمدت اللجنة توصية قررت فيها أن تحيل محتويات المناقشة العامة بصدد الطفلة الى أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة، لضمان التركيز بصفة خاصة على التدابير ذات اﻷولوية المدرجة فيها.

4. the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women: Action for Equality, Development and Peace, having reviewed requests from intergovernmental organizations to participate in the Conference, recommended that the following organizations be granted observer status:
٤ - إن أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة: العمل من أجل المساواة والتنمية والسلم، بعد أن استعرضت طلبات منظمات حكومية دولية للمشاركة في المؤتمر، أوصت بأن تمنح المنظمات التالية مركز مراقب:

ISMUN participated in several youth preparatory activities for the Fourth World Conference on Women promoted by the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women, including a consultation in Princeton, New Jersey, in February 1995.

She also referred to the fact that each regional conference had adopted a regional plan or platform for action, on the basis of which, the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women had prepared the draft Platform for Action to be adopted at the Conference and which was discussed at the recently concluded thirty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
وأشارت أيضا إلى أن كل مؤتمر إقليمي قد قام باعتماد خطة عمل إقليمية، استندت إليها أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة في إعداد مشروع خطة العمل الذي سيعتمد في المؤتمر والذي نوقش في الدورة التاسعة والثلاثين للجنة مركز المرأة التي عقدت مؤخرا.

CONFERENCE ON WOMEN During its deliberations on agenda item 3, the open-ended committee of the whole of the Working Group requested the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women to prepare a summary of the statements made in the committee in order to assist in their deliberations.
١ - طلبت اللجنة الجامعة المفتوحة العضوية التابعة للفريق العامل أثناء مداولاتها حول البند ٣ من جدول اﻷعمال، من أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة أن تعد موجزا بالبيانات التي أدليت في اللجنة بغية المساعدة في المداولات بشأنها.

At its 106th plenary meeting, on 20 July 1995, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women: Action for Equality, Development and Peace, A/49/942. decided to grant observer status to the following organizations to participate in the Conference:
إن الجمعية العامة، في جلستها ١٠٦ المعقودة في ٢٠ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٥، وبناء على توصية من أمانة المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة: العمل من أجل المساواة والتنمية والسلم)٢٠(، قررت منح المنظمات التالية مركز مراقب للمشاركة في المؤتمر:

It presented a set of conclusions which reflected the main areas addressed during the day (annex V). The Committee adopted a recommendation on this subject (see chap. I) which it decided to transmit, along with the contents of the general discussion, to the secretariat of the Fourth World Conference on Women, in particular with a view to ensuring that particular emphasis is given to the following:
