Paragraph 37 of the report of the Group of Governmental Experts on Transparency and Confidence-building Measures in outer space activities states:
تنصُّ الفقرة 37 من تقرير فريق الخبراء الحكوميين المعني بتدابير الشفافية وبناء الثقة في أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي على ما يلي:

Deeply concerned about the fragility of the space environment and the challenges to the long-term sustainability of outer space activities, in particular the impact of space debris which is an issue of concern to all nations,
وإذ يساورها القلق البالغ من هشاشة بيئة الفضاء والتحديات التي تحول دون إمكانية استدامة أنشطة الفضاء الخارجي على المدى الطويل، وخصوصا أثر الحطام الفضائي الذي يمثل مسألة تثير قلق جميع الدول،

The Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space should engage the organizations involved in the Inter-Agency Meeting on outer space activities to approach specific international community users;

The view was expressed that the scope of the discussion of long-term sustainability of outer space activities should take into account the needs of developing countries, particularly with respect to small satellites.
