It was noted that, to continue and further stimulate basic space science activities in the developing countries and maintain the impetus achieved, it was critical to ensure not only that the research activities were stimulated, but also that a broad base of support for basic space science was developed among the general public through a public outreach programme.
٢١ - لوحظ أنه بغية مواصلة أنشطة علوم الفضاء اﻷساسية في البلدان النامية وزيادة حفزها والمحافظة على الزخم المتحقق ، كان لا بد من أن لا يكفل حفز أنشطة البحث فحسب بل أيضا اقامة قاعدة واسعة النطاق لدعم علوم الفضاء اﻷساسية بين عامة الجمهور من خلال برنامج للتوعية الجماهيرية .
