In reiterating the agreements reached in 2000, the 2010 Review Conference encouraged the nuclear-weapon States to commit themselves to declaring to IAEA all fissile material designated by each of them as no longer required for military purposes and to place such material as soon as practicable under IAEA or other relevant international verification.
