The stationing or installation of such weapons on celestial bodies or in outer space is banned.
ويحظر وضع أو تركيب مثل هذه اﻷسلحة على اﻷجرام السماوية أو في الفضاء الخارجي.

8. 18- وفيما تُعتبر الإنجازات القائمة حالياً فيما يتعلق بتحديد الأسلحة هامةً، فإن أهم ما أُبدي من ملاحظات إثر تحليل التغطية والثغرات هي أنه لا توجد في الوقت الراهن أشكال حظر مدوَّنة تنطبق على أي بلد فيما يتعلق بتطوير وصنع وإنتاج ونشر أية أسلحة تقليدية توضع في مدار حول الأرض، أو في الفضاء الخارجي بأية طريقة أخرى.

As States parties to the Treaty, we have undertaken not to place in orbit around the Earth any objects carrying nuclear weapons or any other kinds of weapon of mass destruction, not to install such weapons on celestial bodies and not to station such weapons in outer space in any other manner.
وبصفتنا دولا أطرافا في المعاهدة، فقد تعهدنا بعدم وضع أية أجسام تحمل أسلحة نووية أو أي نوع آخر من أسلحة الدمار الشامل في مدار حول الأرض، وعدم وضع مثل هذه الأسلحة على الأجرام السماوية أو في الفضاء الخارجي بأية طريقة أخرى.
