Staff members in the General Service category who are required to carry out regular " on-call " duties shall be given compensatory time off at the following rates:
يُمنح موظفو فئة الخدمات العامة الذين يطلب منهم القيام بمهام عادية " لدى الاستدعاء " إجازة تعويضية بالمعدلات التالية:

(a) A staff member in the General Service, Security Service or Trades and Crafts category, or in the Field Service category up to and including level FS-5, who is required to work in excess of the working week established for this purpose shall be given compensatory time off or may receive additional payment, under conditions established by the Secretary-General.
(أ) يُمنح الموظف في فئة الخدمات العامة أو فئة خدمات الأمن أو فئة الحرف اليدوية أو فئة الخدمة الميدانية لغاية الرتبة خ م-5، الذي يطلب إليه العمل أكثر من أسبوع العمل المحدد لهذا الغرض، إجازة تعويضية عن ذلك أو يجوز أن تدفع له مبالغ إضافية وفقاً للشروط التي يضعها الأمين العام.

(v) Overtime shall, to the maximum extent possible, be compensated by the granting of compensatory time off.
' 5` يعوّض عن العمل الإضافي، إلى أقصى حد ممكن؛ بمنح إجازة تعويضية.

(vi) When the scheduled work day is less than eight hours, compensation for overtime up to a total of eight hours of work on the same day shall take the form of an equal amount of compensatory time off;
' 6` إذا كان يوم العمل المقرر أقل من ثماني ساعات، يكون التعويض عن العمل الإضافي في شكل إجازة تعويضية تساوي مدتها مدة العمل الإضافي حتى يصل المجموع إلى ثماني ساعات عمل في اليوم نفسه؛

(b) Should the exigencies of service permit, and subject to the prior approval of the Secretary-General, occasional compensatory time off may be granted to staff members serving in the Professional and higher categories who have been required to work substantial or recurrent periods of overtime.
(ب) يجوز منح موظفي الفئة الفنية والفئات العليا الذين يطلب إليهم العمل لفترات إضافية طويلة أو متكررة، إجازة تعويضية في بعض الأحيان، إذا سمحت مقتضيات العمل بذلك، وبشرط الحصول على موافقة مسبقة من الأمين العام.

Such compensation shall take the form of either compensatory leave or a supplementary payment, on the terms stated in the Staff Rules.
ويكون ذلك التعويض إما على شكل إجازة تعويضية أو مدفوعات تكميلية وفقا لﻷحكام الواردة في النظام اﻹداري للموظفين.

The lower requirement under overtime ($8,000) was caused by increased use of compensatory time-off rather than payment for overtime, whenever possible.

Thus, a staff member who spent two days of compensatory time off outside the mission area would receive payment of mission subsistence allowance in respect of those two days only to the extent that they could be covered by accrued mission subsistence allowance credit points.
وعلى ذلك فإن الموظف الذي يقضي يومي إجازة تعويضية خارج منطقة البعثة لا يدفع له بدل اﻹقامة عن هذين اليومين إلا إذا كان لديه من رصيد اﻹجازات التي يستحق عنها بدل اﻹقامة ما يكفي لتغطية هذين اليومين.

(iv) Compensation shall take the form of an equal amount of compensatory time off for overtime in excess of the scheduled workday up to a total of eight hours of work on the same day.
`4 ' يكون التعويض في شكل إجازة تعويضية تساوي مدتها مدة العمل الإضافي الزائد عن يوم العمل المقرر حتى يصل المجموع إلى ثماني ساعات عمل في اليوم نفسه.

Workers who do not receive a day of rest in the period indicated, shall be entitled to extra remuneration for services rendered on such days, and to compensatory leave.
يكون من حق العمال الذين لا يحصلون على يوم الراحة في الفترة المشار اليها الحصول على مكافأة إضافية عن خدماتهم خلال تلك اﻷيام باﻹضافة الى الحصول على إجازة تعويضية.

(b) Staff members other than those in the General Service category may be given compensatory leave if they have worked considerable or frequent overtime periods.
)ب( يجوز إعطاء الموظفين من غير فئة الخدمات العامة إجازة تعويضية إذا عملوا لفترات عمل إضافي طويلة أو متواترة.

١٨ - وخلال الفترة من ١ كانون الثاني/يناير الى ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٤، تم، باﻹضافة الى اﻹجازات التي تمنحها اﻷمم المتحدة، منح إجازات تعويضية بلغت مدتها ٩٥٣ ٨ يوما، أي بمعدل ٣٦ يوما لكل مراقب عسكري، في البعثة، وتلقى كثير من المراقبين إجازة تعويضية تزيد عن ستة أيام في الشهر.
