In Central Africa, the countries of the Congo Forest Basin, for their part, have made a commitment to sustainably manage their forests through conservation, forest certification, combating illegal logging, good forest governance, the gradual streamlining of the logging industry and implementation of the process to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries.
