2. In its decision 50/479, the General Assembly had requested the Secretary-General to submit to it at its fifty-first session a comprehensive report on the implementation of procurement reform in the United Nations Secretariat as defined in paragraph 5 of the report of the Advisory Committee.
٢ - وكانت الجمعية العامة قد طلبت إلى اﻷمين العام، في مقررها ٥٠/٤٧٩، أن يقدم إليها في دورتها الحادية والخمسين تقريرا شاملا عن تنفيذ إصلاح نظام الشراء في اﻷمانة العامة لﻷمم المتحدة على النحو المبين في الفقرة ٥ من تقرير اللجنة الاستشارية.

2. The Fifth Committee considered the question of procurement reform at its 3rd and 12th meetings, on 4 and 20 October 1999.
٢ - وقد نظرت اللجنة الخامسة في مسألة إصلاح نظام الشراء في جلستيها الثالثة والثانية عشرة المعقودتين يومي ٤ و ٢٠ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٩.

23. Requests the Secretary-General to submit to the General Assembly at its fifty-seventh session a report on all aspects of procurement reform at Headquarters and in the field, including improvements to the procurement process within the United Nations funds and programmes, as well as on the implementation of the present resolution.
23 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السابعة والخمسين تقريرا عن جميع جوانب إصلاح نظام الشراء في المقر وفي البعثات الميدانية، بما فيها التحسينات التي أدخلت على عملية الشراء في صناديق الأمم المتحدة وبرامجها، وكذا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار.
