The Office for Outer Space Affairs promotes and supports activities organized within the framework of the International Heliophysical Year 2007.

The participants, who held positions at universities, research institutions, observatories, national space agencies, planetariums and international organizations, were involved in implementing activities in the framework of the International Heliophysical Year and all the aspects of basic space science covered by the Workshop.
وكان المشاركون الذين يشغلون مناصب في جامعات ومؤسسات بحثية ومراصد ووكالات فضاء وطنية وقباب فلكية ومنظمات دولية من العاملين في تنفيذ أنشطة في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية وفي جميع جوانب علوم الفضاء الأساسية التي شملتها حلقة العمل.

Building on the work conducted in the framework of the International Heliophysical Year 2007, a series of ground-based networks for the monitoring of space weather have been established.
وأنشئت مجموعة من الشبكات الأرضية لرصد طقس الفضاء بالاستفادة من العمل المضطلع به في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية 2007.

The Subcommittee noted with appreciation that Canada, China, Japan, Nigeria and the United States had reported on their achievements and on the activities they had carried out in 2008 in the framework of the International Heliophysical Year 2007.
166- ولاحظت اللجنة الفرعية مع التقدير أن الصين وكندا ونيجيريا والولايات المتحدة واليابان قد أبلغت عمّا حققته من إنجازات وما قامت به في عام 2008 من أنشطة في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية 2007.

The Committee noted that the activities which had begun under the International Heliophysical Year 2007 and had continued under the International Space Weather Initiative provided an understanding of the effects of the sun on the space infrastructure and the Earth's environment.
134- ولاحظت اللجنة أنَّ الأنشطة التي بدأت في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية واستمرت في إطار المبادرة الدولية بشأن طقس الفضاء توفر فهماً للآثار التي تخلفها الشمس على البنى التحتية الفضائية وبيئة الأرض.

17. The Workshop strongly supported the proposed collaboration of scientists from Georgia and Ukraine within the framework of the International Heliophysical Year 2007, with the aim of creating a complex electromagnetic polygon at the base of the Abastumani Astrophysical Observatory as well as a student-developed microsatellite, to be launched in 2007.
17- أيّدت حلقة العمل بقوة التعاون المقترح لعلميين من أوكرانيا وجورجيا في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية 2007، بهدف إنشاء مضلع كهرمغنطيسي عقدي عند قاعدة مرصد أباستوماني للفيزياء الفلكية، إضافة إلى ساتل صغير من تصميم طلبة من المقرر إطلاقه في عام 2007.

As part of the GPS Africa project, the Office for Outer Space Affairs contributed to the deployment of a GPS receiver network in Africa so that developing countries could participate in studies of the Sun-Earth system in the framework of the International Heliophysical Year 2007.
50- وفي إطار مشروع النظام العالمي لتحديد المواقع في أفريقيا، ساهم مكتب شؤون الفضاء الخارجي في نشر شبكة من أجهزة استقبال النظام العالمي لتحديد المواقع في أفريقيا كيما يتسنّى للبلدان النامية أن تشارك في الدراسات المتعلقة بنظام الأرض-الشمس في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية 2007.

From 2005 to 2009, the workshops held within the framework of the International Heliophysical Year 2007 were dedicated to and contributed to the deployment of 14 ground-based instrument arrays (GPS receivers, radio antennas, magnetometers, cosmic ray detectors) for research on climate change, space weather and ionospheric phenomena.
14- ومن عام 2005 إلى عام 2009، كُرّست حلقات العمل المعقودة في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية 2007 لنشر 14 صفيفة أجهزة أرضية (أجهزة استقبال النظام العالمي لتحديد المواقع وهوائيات راديوية وأجهزة قياس مغنطيسية وأجهزة كشف الأشعة الكونية) من أجل بحوث التغيّر المناخي والطقس الفضائي وظواهر الغلاف الأيوني.

The Symposium was held as a follow-up to the activities conducted under the International Heliophysical Year 2007 and the International Space Weather Initiative, which was concluded in 2012.
5- عُقدت الندوة على سبيل المتابعة للأنشطة المنفَّذة في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية 2007، وكذلك المبادرة الدولية بشأن طقس الفضاء (ISWI) التي اختُتمت في عام 2012.

Therefore, the International Heliophysical Year's international planning activities have focused on the establishment of the four main components of International Heliophysical Year and on enabling the individual International Heliophysical Year regions and nations to commence with their planning activities.
ومن ثم، فقد ركّزت أنشطة التخطيط الدولي المنفَّذة في إطار السنة الدولية للفيزياء الشمسية على إرساء العناصر الأربعة الخاصة بها وعلى تمكين فرادى المناطق والبلدان من الشروع في أنشطتها التخطيطية.
