8 - أعربت عن اقتناع ماليزيا بأن مبادرة وضع إطار عمل شرعي لبعثات الأمم المتحدة للمحافظة على السلم هي مبادرة تستحق النظر فيها، وعبَّرت عن ترحيبها بالاقتراح المقدَّم من الاتحاد الروسي بعنوان " أسس القواعد الشرعية لعمليات الأمم المتحدة للمحافظة على السلم في إطار الفصل السادس من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة " .
