As members know, the Declaration on the Denuclearization of Africa was adopted at the historic Cairo summit of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), held in 1964.
وكما يعلم اﻷعضاء، فإن إعلان اعتبار افريقيا منطقة لا نووية قد اعتمد في مؤتمر قمة القاهرة التاريخي الذي عقدته منظمة الوحدة الافريقية في عام ١٩٦٤.

Recalling the Declaration on the Denuclearization of Africa adopted by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the Organization of African Unity at its first ordinary session, held at Cairo in 1964,
