وفي ضوء الاشتراط القانوني الوارد في الفقرة 2 من المادة 20 من البروتوكول ومفاده أن ترسل الأمانة نص أي تعديل مقترح على البروتوكول إلى الأطراف قبل الدورة المقترح اعتماده فيها بستة أشهر على الأقل، يتعين اتخاذ ترتيبات لإرسال نص التعديلات المقترحة إلى الأطراف بحلول 17 حزيران/يونيه 2009.

It was further agreed that Parties would submit to the Secretariat their comments on the issue of further guidance and the Secretariat would make the comments available to the Parties prior to the meeting in order to facilitate the discussion.
