At the eighteenth session, the subcommission had prepared the recommendations in regard to the partial submission made by Ireland and submitted them to the Commission, which decided to defer their consideration to the nineteenth session in order to allow all members of the Commission to study both the submission and the analysis made by the subcommission in more detail (see A/62/66, paras. 28 and 29).
