The purpose of the information services is to strengthen the role of the secretariat in facilitating the flow of information among the key participants in the CCD process, in particular national focal points of the Parties to the Convention as well as other intergovernmental and non-governmental institutions, in their efforts to implement the provisions of the Convention.
٤٤- إن الهدف من خدمات اﻹعلام هو تعزيز دور اﻷمانة في تيسير تدفق المعلومات بين المشاركين الرئيسيين في عملية الاتفاقية، وبوجه خاص جهات التنسيق الوطنية لﻷطراف في الاتفاقية فضلاً عن المؤسسات الحكومية الدولية وغير الحكومية اﻷخرى، في جهودها الرامية إلى تنفيذ أحكام الاتفاقية.

The basic tool for collecting information on domestic legislation and other measures to implement the Convention is the self-assessment checklist, endorsed by the Conference in its resolution 3/1. States parties are encouraged by the Conference to use the self-assessment checklist as a way to assess their efforts to implement the provisions of the Convention relating to asset recovery.
16- إنَّ قائمة التقييم الذاتي المرجعية، التي اعتمدها المؤتمر في قراره 3/1، هي الأداة الأساسية المستخدَمة في جمع المعلومات عن التشريعات الوطنية وسائر التدابير المُتَّخَذَة لتنفيذ الاتفاقية، ويشجِّع المؤتمر الدول الأطراف على استخدام قائمة التقييم الذاتي المرجعية لتقييم جهودها الرامية إلى تنفيذ أحكام الاتفاقية المتعلقة باسترداد الموجودات.
