It is proposed to redeploy one post of Child Protection Officer at the P-4 level, five National Professional Officer posts of Associate Child Protection Officer, one national General Service post of Administrative Assistant, and four United Nations Volunteers positions of Child Protection Officer to the Human Rights Section.

Finally, in order to regularize the arrangement of the temporary loan of two National Professional Officer posts to the Human Rights Section, it is proposed that two posts of Border Monitor (National Professional Officer) be reassigned to the Human Rights Section to function as Human Rights Officers.

(أ) إعادة ندب وظيفة واحدة لممرض/ممرضة (من الفئة الفنية الوطنية) من قسم الخدمات الطبية إلى قسم حقوق الإنسان للعمل كموظف/موظفة لشؤون حقوق الإنسان، وإعادة ندب وظيفة واحدة لمساعد إداري ( فئة الخدمات العامة الوطنية) من قسم حقوق الإنسان إلى قسم الخدمات الطبية للعمل بصفة كاتب مخازن.

86. In accordance with the recommendations of the civilian staffing review, it is proposed to redeploy one post of Child Protection Officer at the P-4 level, five National Professional Officer posts of Associate Child Protection Officer, one national General Service post of Administrative Assistant and four United Nations Volunteers in the capacity of Child Protection Officers from the Child Protection Section to the Human Rights Section.

Since this requires additional substantive work, it is proposed that one National Professional Officer post of Nurse be reassigned from the Medical Services Section to the Human Rights Section as a Human Rights Officer, and that one national General Service Administrative Assistant post be reassigned to the Medical Services Section as a Warehouse Clerk.

In its resolution 2005/76, as endorsed by Economic and Social Council decision 2005/276, the Commission requested the High Commissioner for Human Rights to report to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session and to the Commission at its sixty-second session on assistance to Sierra Leone in the field of human rights, including with reference to the Human Rights Section of the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone.
