4. The Chairman drew attention to the note by the Secretariat on the organization of work of the Committee (A/C.6/57/L.1).

At its 29th meeting, on 9 June 1995, the Committee considered the provisional agenda and the documentation for the thirty-sixth session on the basis of a note by the Secretariat.

1. The Chair invited the Committee to consider the proposed programme of work for the first part of the resumed sixty-sixth session, prepared on the basis of the note by the Secretariat on the status of preparedness of documentation (A/C.5/66/L.28).

The Chairman further drew the attention of the Committee to a note by the Secretariat on the status of preparedness of documentation (A/C.5/59/L.1) and to the proposed programme of work submitted by the Bureau for the main part of the session.
كما وجه الرئيس اهتمام أعضاء اللجنة إلى مذكرة من الأمانة العامة عن حالة إعداد الوثائق (A/C.5/59/L.1) وإلى برنامج العمل المقترح الذي قدمه المكتب من أجل الجزء الرئيسي من الدورة.

The Chairman further drew the attention of the Committee to a note by the Secretariat on the status of preparedness of documentation (A/C.5/56/L.1) and to the informal paper submitted by the Bureau on the proposed programme of work for the main part of the session.

21. Ms. de Laurentis (Secretary of the Committee) drew attention to a note by the Secretariat on the nonlegally binding instrument on all types of forest (A/C.2/62/L.5), which was before the Committee for action at a later date under agenda item 54.

44. The Chairman drew the Committee's attention to a note by the Secretariat on the possibility of operating guided tours, bookstores and gift shops at the United Nations Office at Nairobi and the cost implications thereof, contained in document A/58/727.

3. The attention of the Committee was drawn to the note by the Secretariat on the reports of the Joint Inspection Unit contained in document E/AC.51/2004/L.3, and the Committee was informed that the two reports listed in the document were scheduled for consideration by the Fifth Committee and in plenary meeting during the fifty-ninth session of the General Assembly.

8. At its 1st meeting, on 26 April, the attention of the Committee was drawn to the note by the Secretariat on the status of documentation (E/AC.51/2012/L.1) listing the documents for consideration by the Committee.
