14- ولذلك فإن المفتش يود أن يؤكد منذ البداية أن الاحترام المتبادَل والتفاهم مهمان أهمية قصوى للنجاح في تطبيق اتفاقات المقارّ المبرمة بين منظمات الأمم المتحدة والبلدان المضيفة لها.

Therefore, as hosts, they must accord the United Nations organizations and their officials and staff members the necessary privileges and immunities as well as the facilities and courtesies required in the headquarters agreements and other applicable international instruments, for the smooth functioning of the organizations and for the discharging of their responsibilities.
ولذلك ينبغي لها باعتبارها بلداناً مضيفة أن تمنح منظمات الأمم المتحدة ومسؤوليها وموظفيها الامتيازات والحصانات اللازمة، فضلاً عن توفير التسهيلات وإبداء المجاملات المطلوبة في اتفاقات المقارّ وغيرها من الصكوك الدولية التي تنطبق عليها وذلك من أجل تيسير عمل المنظمات واضطلاعها بمسؤولياتها.
