" وقد فحصت وثائق تفويض الممثلين في الاجتماع التاسع للدول اﻷطراف في اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لقانون البحار، المشار إليها في الفقرات مـن ١ إلى ٣ مـن مذكرة اﻷمانـة العامـة المؤرخـة ٢٠ أيار/ مايو١٩٩٩ ، المستكملة بالمعلومات اﻹضافية التي قدمتها اﻷمانة العامة خلال اجتماع لجنة وثائق التفويض.

7. As noted in paragraph 3 of the memorandum and the statement relating thereto, only Dominica had not, as of the time of the meeting of the Credentials Committee, communicated to the Secretary-General any information regarding its representatives to the first session of the Assembly of States Parties.

" وقد فحصت وثائق تفويض الممثلين في الاجتماع العاشر للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار، المشار إليها في الفقرات من 1 إلى 3 من مذكرة الأمانة العامة المؤرخة 24 أيار/مايو 1999، المستكملة بالمعلومات الإضافية التي قدمتها الأمانة العامة خلال اجتماع لجنة وثائق التفويض.

Since representatives of Belgium and Guyana were not available to attend the meeting of the Credentials Committee held on 4 December 2013, the States in List B had submitted the candidature of Germany to replace Belgium and the States in List C had submitted the candidature of Mexico to replace Guyana.
وبما أنَّ ممثلا بلجيكا وغيانا لم يتمكَّنا من حضور اجتماع لجنة وثائق التفويض الذي عقد في 4 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2013، رشَّحت الدول المدرجة في القائمة باء ألمانيا لتحل محل بلجيكا ورشَّحت الدول المدرجة في القائمة جيم المكسيك لتحل محل غيانا.

10. The Chairperson, after hearing the various statements made during the meeting of the Credentials Committee on 8 December and on 11 December, when the Committee resumed its work, proposed that the Committee defer its consideration of the credentials submitted by Guinea and Madagascar and accept the credentials of the remaining Member States.
10 - وبعد الاستماع إلى مختلف البيانات التي أُدلي بها خلال اجتماع لجنة وثائق التفويض يوم 8 كانون الأول/ديسمبر ويوم 11 كانون الأول/ديسمبر عندما استأنفت اللجنة عملها، اقترح الرئيس على اللجنة إرجاء النظر في وثائق التفويض المقدَّمة من غينيا ومدغشقر وقبول وثائق تفويض بقية الدول الأعضاء.

7. The Chairman proposed that the Committee accept the credentials of all representatives mentioned in the memorandum of the Secretariat, supplemented by the additional information provided by the Secretariat during the meeting of the Credentials Committee, on the understanding that formal credentials of representatives referred to in paragraph 2 of the Secretariat's memorandum would be communicated to the Secretariat as soon as possible.
٧ - واقترح الرئيس أن تقبل اللجنة وثائق تفويض جميع الممثلين المشار إليهم في مذكرة اﻷمانة العامة المستكملة بالمعلومات اﻹضافية التي قدمتها اﻷمانة العامة خلال اجتماع لجنة وثائق التفويض على أساس أن وثائق التفويض الرسمية للممثلين المشار إليهم في الفقرة ٢ من مذكرة اﻷمانة العامة سترسل إلى اﻷمانة العامة في أقرب وقت ممكن.

Mr. RAMA RAO (India), Coordinator, introducing document A/CONF.183/C.1/L.49/Rev.1 on the Final Act, said that paragraphs 14, 15 and 16 would be completed following the meeting of the Credentials Committee and that any further resolutions would be included on page 7, subject to decisions by the Committee of the Whole.
