An update on the work of the Terrorism Prevention Branch on countering the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes was delivered during the quarterly briefing of the Task Force to Member States, on 18 December.
وتضمنت الإحاطة الفصلية التي قدمتها فرقة العمل إلى الدول الأعضاء بتاريخ 18 كانون الأول/ديسمبر آخر المستجدات عن عمل فرع منع الإرهاب بشأن مكافحة استخدام الإنترنت في أغراض إرهابية.

In 2012, UNODC launched a publication entitled The use of the Internet for terrorist purposes, which includes examples of judicial cases and practical advice to policymakers and practitioners.
وفي عام 2012، أصدر المكتب منشورا بعنوان " استخدام الإنترنت في أغراض إرهابية " ، يتضمن أمثلة عن حالات قضائية ويسدي المشورة العملية لواضعي السياسات والممارسين.

Because of the increasingly complex nature of terrorism, the Branch is challenged to further enhance expertise-building and transfer in specific thematic areas, such as transportation security, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear terrorism, countering the financing of terrorism and countering the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes.
90- وبسبب تزايد تعقّد الإرهاب فإن الفرع يجد صعوبة شديدة في المضي قُدماً في تعزيز تطوير الخبرات ونقلها في مجالات محددة مثل أمن النقل والإرهاب الكيميائي والبيولوجي والإشعاعي والنووي ومكافحة تمويل الإرهاب ومكافحة استخدام الإنترنت في أغراض إرهابية.

The use of the Internet for terrorist purposes was used as a training tool at tailored-made national training workshops held in Morocco from 25 to 27 September and Mexico from 29 to 31 October, and during a regional workshop covering South Asia, held in New Delhi from 6 to 8 December.
45- واستُفيد من أداة " استخدام الإنترنت في أغراض إرهابية " باعتبارها أداة تدريبية في حلقات عمل تدريبية وطنية مصمَّمة وفق الحاجة، عُقدت في المغرب من 25 إلى 27 أيلول/ سبتمبر، وفي المكسيك من 29 إلى 31 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر، وفي حلقة عمل إقليمية لمنطقة جنوب آسيا، عُقدت في نيودلهي من 6 إلى 8 كانون الأول/ديسمبر.

The Branch is also an active member of the Task Force's working group on countering the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes, whose initial report was presented during the Task Force's briefing for Member States given in New York in March 2009, and is a member of the Task Force's working group on conflict prevention and resolution, which focuses on conditions conducive to the spread of terrorism in Central Asia and West Africa.
