My delegation thinks that the Court's advisory opinions are not just a point of view but a reaffirmation of the principles of international law and therefore should not remain dead letters: they must be taken into consideration by all Member States as well as by the principal organs of the United Nations, in particular the General Assembly and the Security Council.
