وإذ تعيد تأكيد أن المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ينبغي أن يواصل تعزيز دوره بوصفه الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة والتي تتولى بالتالي تعزيز المتابعة المنسقة لنتائج مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة الرئيسية في المجالين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين ذات الصلة،

With regard to the Economic and Social Council, the Union is committed to a strengthened Council as the central mechanism for system-wide coordination and the integrated and coordinated implementation of the outcomes of, and follow-up to, the major United Nations conferences in the economic, social and related fields.
فيما يتعلق بالمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، فإن الاتحاد الأوروبي ملتزم بتعزيز المجلس بوصفه الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة وللتنفيذ والمتابعة المتكاملين والمنسقين لنتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين ذات الصلة.

وإذ تكرر تأكيد أن المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي يواصل تعزيز دوره بوصفه الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة ويقوم بالتالي بتشجيع المتابعة المنسقة لنتائج مؤتمرات الأمم المتحدة الرئيسية في المجالين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين ذات الصلة،

At today's adoption of the resolution on the strengthening of the Economic and Social Council, the Council's role as the central mechanism for system-wide coordination in promoting the integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits has been reaffirmed.
وباتخاذ قرار تعزيز المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي اليوم، يتأكد مجددا دور هذا المجلس بوصفه الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة في تعزيز التنفيذ المتكامل والمنسق لنتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية ومؤتمرات القمة الكبرى التي عقدتها الأمم المتحدة ومتابعة ذلك.

In its resolution 61/16 of 20 November 2006, the General Assembly adopted new working methods for the Council to strengthen its role as the central mechanism for system-wide coordination in the implementation of, and follow-up to, the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences in the economic, social and related fields.
واعتمدت الجمعية العامة، في قرارها 61/16 المؤرخ 20 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2006، أساليب عمل جديدة للمجلس تعزيزا لدوره بصفته الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة في مجال تنفيذ ومتابعة نتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين المتصلة بهما.

In its resolution 61/16, the General Assembly adopted new working methods for the Council to strengthen its role as the central mechanism for system-wide coordination in the implementation of, and follow-up to, the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences in the economic, social and related fields.
واعتمدت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 61/16 أساليب عمل جديدة للمجلس تعزيزا لدوره بصفته الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة في مجال تنفيذ ومتابعة نتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين المتصلة يهما.

3. Reiterates its role as the central mechanism for system-wide coordination as well as its role in promoting the integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences in the economic, social and related fields, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and relevant General Assembly resolutions, in particular resolutions 50/227, 57/270 B and 61/16;
3 - يكرر تأكيد دوره بوصفه الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة فضلا عن دوره في تشجيع التنفيذ والمتابعة المتكاملين والمنسقين لنتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية ومؤتمرات القمة التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والميادين المتصلة بهما، وفقا لميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقرارات الجمعية العامة ذات الصلة، ولا سيما القرارات 50/227 و 57/270 باء و 61/16؛

We note with satisfaction that, in accordance with the relevant recommendations of resolution 61/16, the Economic and Social Council was strengthened during the reporting period in its role as the central mechanism for system-wide coordination of the process of integrated and coordinated implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the major United Nations conferences and summits.
ونلاحظ مع الارتياح أنه وفقا للتوصيات ذات الصلة للقرار 61/16، تم تعزيز المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي خلال الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير فيما يتعلق بدوره بوصفه الآلية المركزية للتنسيق على نطاق المنظومة لعملية التنفيذ والمتابعة المتكاملين والمنسقين لنتائج المؤتمرات الرئيسية ومؤتمرات القمة التي تعقدها الأمم المتحدة.
