The Crimes (Internationally Protected Persons and Hostages) Act 1982 was enacted by the Cook Islands Parliament to give effect to the 1973 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Internationally Protected Persons, including Diplomatic Agents, and the 1979 Convention against the Taking of Hostages, and matters relating thereto.
