62- وينبغي للدول الأطراف أن تحترم نشاط المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان وغيرهم من أعضاء المجتمع المدني في سبيل مساعدة الفئات الضعيفة أو المهمشة على إعمال حقها في الصحة، وأن تحمي هذا النشاط وتيسره وتعززه.

59. States parties should respect, protect, facilitate and promote the work of human rights advocates and other members of civil society with a view to assisting vulnerable or marginalized groups in the realization of their right to water.
59- وينبغي للدول الأطراف أن تحترم عمل المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان وغيرهم من أعضاء المجتمع المدني في سبيل مساعدة الفئات الضعيفة أو المهمّشة على إعمال حقها في الماء، وأن تحمي هذا العمل وتيسِّره وتعزِّزه.

While the ratification of the Convention by an unprecedented number of countries was encouraging, States parties must respect its provisions in their entirety if it was to be truly effective.
