18 - ولم يتبين للمكتب وجود أية أنشطة تسعى إلى جعل إدارة المعارف عنصرا من نظام تقييم الأداء في الأمانة العامة بالأمم المتحدة أو أية إشارة من هذا القبيل في اختصاصات الفريق العامل المعني بإدارة المعارف أو في خطة عمله.

19. The Chairman expressed his gratitude to the members of the Committee for their support, to the Vice-Chairmen for their constant willingness to assist him in carrying out his responsibilities, to the Rapporteur for his efforts to ensure the timely preparation of reports, and to the staff of the United Nations Secretariat for their efforts to ensure the successful completion of the Committee's regular session for 2002.
19 - أعرب الرئيس عن امتنانه لأعضاء اللجنة لما قدموه من دعم، ولنواب الرئيس لما أبدوه من استعداد دائم لمساعدته في القيام بمسؤولياته، وللمقرر لما بذله من جهود لكفالة إعداد التقارير في الوقت المناسب، ولموظفي الأمانة العامة بالأمم المتحدة لما بذلوه من جهود لكفالة إتمام أعمال الدورة العادية للجنة بنجاح لعام 2002.

64. On the basis outlined in paragraph 63, the net present value of UNOPS accrued liability as at 31 December 2011, net of contributions from plan participants, was estimated by actuaries engaged by the United Nations Secretariat at $18.3 million.
67 - وعلى الأساس الموضح في الفقرة 66، فإن القيمة الصافية الحالية للالتزام الذي يتحمله مكتب الأمم المتحدة لخدمات المشاريع، اعتباراً من 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2011، مخصوماً منها الاشتراكات التي سددها المشتركون في الخطة قُدر من جانب اكتواريين تعاقدت معهم الأمانة العامة بالأمم المتحدة بمبلغ 18.3 مليون دولار.
