The United States provided technical expertise to refine the use of Treaty-specified on-site inspection technologies in 2011, and we are currently working with the Provisional Technical Secretariat of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization and with international partners to prepare for an on-site inspection integrated field exercise in 2014.

In the field of international cooperation, the Provisional Technical Secretariat continues its role as an information clearing house and provides support for the advancement of the Commission's work, including information visit programmes to support IMS and IDC activities.
