• Declaration of the High-level Meeting

In the Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Rule of Law at the National and International Levels, Member States declared:
وقد أعلنت الدول الأعضاء، في الإعلان الصادر عن الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة بشأن سيادة القانون على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي، ما يلي:

Issues requiring further examination in the Sixth Committee included sanctions, extraterritorial application of domestic laws and the reform of the Security Council; the terms used in paragraph 28 of the Declaration of the High-level Meeting concerning the Security Council were misleading.

In each of the areas covered by the Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the rule of law at the national and international levels, the European Union and its Member States had made substantive pledges, backed up by concrete measures, aimed at strengthening the rule of law.

In the Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the rule of law at the national and international levels, Member States had rightly commended the work of UNCITRAL in modernizing and harmonizing international trade law, which played a key role in the strengthening of the rule of law.

53. I would like to recall the Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the rule of law at the national and international levels (resolution 67/1), which was adopted by the General Assembly on 24 September 2012.

53. Mr. Hisajima (Japan) said that his country welcomed the importance that the Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the General Assembly on the Rule of Law had given to strengthened international cooperation in fighting drug trafficking and transnational organized crime and to protecting the rights of vulnerable groups, who suffered most from the effects violent crime and corruption.
53 - السيد هيساجيما (اليابان): قال إن بلاده ترحب بما أولاه الإعلان الصادر عن الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة بشأن سيادة القانون من أهمية لتعزيز التعاون الدولي في مكافحة الاتجار بالمخدرات والجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية، وحماية حقوق الفئات الضعيفة، التي تعاني أكثر من غيرها من آثار الجريمة العنيفة والفساد.

Recalling the Declaration of the High-level Meeting of the sixty-third session of the General Assembly on the midterm review of the Almaty Programme of Action, of 3 October 2008, which stressed that the higher cost of moving goods across borders for landlocked developing countries puts their products at a competitive disadvantage and that they continue to face challenges in their efforts to establish efficient transit transport systems,

70. Ms. Burgstaller (Sweden), speaking on behalf of the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden), said that the Declaration of the High-level Meeting had affirmed the interrelationship between the rule of law and the three main pillars of the United Nations and provided a foundation on which to build global visions, norms, standards and practices relating to the rule of law.
70 - السيدة بورغستالر (السويد)، تكلمت باسم بلدان الشمال الأوروبي (أيسلندا والدانمرك والسويد وفنلندا والنرويج)، فقالت إن الإعلان الصادر عن الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى قد أكد الترابط بين سيادة القانون والركائز الرئيسية الثلاث للأمم المتحدة وأتاح أساسا لوضع الرؤى والقواعد والمعايير والممارسات العالمية المتعلقة بسيادة القانون.
