Mr. Doucouré (Mali) said that reports of serious violations of international humanitarian and human rights law in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the occupied Syrian Golan reminded the world that the conflict that had been tearing apart the Middle East for over six decades remained unresolved.

5. Notes that the deliberate targeting of civilian populations or other protected persons and the committing of systematic, flagrant and widespread violations of international humanitarian and human rights law in situations of armed conflict may constitute a threat to international peace and security, and, in this regard, reaffirms its readiness to consider such situations and, where necessary, to adopt appropriate steps;
5 - يلاحظ أن تعمد استهداف السكان المدنيين أو غيرهم من الأشخاص المشمولين بالحماية وارتكاب انتهاكات منتظمة وصارخة وواسعة النطاق للقانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان في حالات الصراع المسلح قد يشكل تهديدا للسلم والأمن الدوليين، وفي هذا الصدد يؤكد من جديد استعداده للنظر في تلك الحالات وفي فرض تدابير مناسبة عند الاقتضاء؛

Recalls that the deliberate targeting of civilians and other protected persons, and the commission of systematic, flagrant and widespread violations of international humanitarian and human rights law in situations of armed conflict may constitute a threat to international peace and security, and reaffirms in this regard its readiness to consider such situations and, where necessary, to adopt appropriate steps;
9 - يشير إلى أن الاستهداف المتعمد للمدنيين وغيرهم من الأشخاص المحميين، والقيام بانتهاكات منتظمة وصارخة على نطاق واسع للقانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان في حالات النزاع المسلح، إنما يشكل تهديدا للسلم والأمن الدوليين، ويؤكد مجددا في هذا الصدد استعداده للنظر في هذه الحالات، حيثما اقتضى الأمر، لاتخاذ إجراءات مناسبة؛

26. 26 - يلاحظ أن تعمد استهداف السكان المدنيين وغيرهم من الأشخاص المشمولين بالحماية، وارتكاب انتهاكات منتظمة وسافرة وواسعة الانتشار للقانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان في حالات الصراع المسلح، قد يشكلان تهديدا للسلام والأمن الدوليين، ويؤكد من جديد في هذا الصدد استعداده للنظر في تلك الحالات واعتماد تدابير مناسبة عند الاقتضاء؛

Requests the Secretary-General to remain in contact with Governments, and relevant international and non-governmental organizations concerned and to report to it at its fifty-seventh session on the progress made concerning promotion of a new humanitarian order and compliance with international humanitarian and human rights law in armed conflicts and emergency situations. "
" 6 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يظل على اتصال مع الحكومات والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية المعنية وأن يقدم تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها السابعة والخمسين بشأن التقدم المحرز فيما يتعلق بإقامة نظام إنساني جديد والامتثال للقانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان في الصراعات المسلحة وحالات الطوارئ " .
