In its decision, the Conference of the Parties welcomed the invitation of the General Assembly to the secretariat of the Convention to report on how its activities were contributing to the implementation of Agenda 21 and the Programme for the Further Implementation of Agenda 21, for the consideration of the General Assembly at its fifty-fifth session.
ورحب المؤتمر في مقرره هذا بدعوة الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة أمانة الاتفاقية إلى تقديم تقرير عن أوجه مساهمة أنشطتها في تنفيذ جدول أعمال القرن 21 وبرنامج مواصلة تنفيذ جدول أعمال القرن 21 لكي تنظر فيه الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخامسة والخمسين.

At its sixtieth session, the General Assembly called upon States to work cooperatively towards achieving the ultimate objective of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change; and invited the secretariat of the Convention to report to the Assembly at its sixty-first session on the work of the Conference of the Parties (resolution 60/197).
وفي الدورة الستين، أهابت الجمعية العامة بالدول أن تتعاون في العمل من أجل بلوغ الهدف النهائي لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ؛ ودعـت أمانة الاتفاقية إلى تقديم تقرير إلى الجمعية في دورتها الحادية والستين عن أعمال مؤتمر الأطراف (القرار 60/197).
