In this context, the SBI requested the secretariat to publish information about upcoming workshops on the UNFCCC web site.

The draft training manual, entitled " Training Manual for the Enforcement of Laws Implementing the Basel Convention: Guidance for Safe and Effective Detection, Investigation, and Prosecution of Illegal Traffic in Hazardous and other Wastes " , was placed on the Convention web site for comment.

Introducing the item, the Executive Secretary recalled that the Working Group had provisionally approved the work programme for the Basel Convention Partnership Programme at its second session on the understanding that it would be posted on the Convention web site for comment and that the Working Group would take it up again at the current session.
