The UNODC Regional Programme Office for South-Eastern Europe published guidelines on international cooperation relating to cases involving trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants.
ونشر مكتب البرنامج الإقليمي لجنوب شرق أوروبا التابع للمكتب مبادئ توجيهية عن التعاون الدولي فيما يتعلق بحالات الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين.

In addition to specific projects on corruption prevention, combating the trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants, and promoting the justice sector, UNODC has implemented an integrated project aimed at supporting the efforts Nigeria has made in fighting drug production, trafficking and use, and in curbing organized crime.

Colombia stated that Trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants were associated with transnational organized crime and that they had a huge impact on public safety and community life in regions dedicated to tourism.
9- ذكرت كولومبيا أنَّ الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين مقترنان بالجريمة المنظَّمة عبر الوطنية، وأنَّ لهما تأثيراً هائلاً على السلامة العامة والحياة المجتمعية في المناطق ذات الرواج السياحي.

The Meeting requested that the members of the Inter-Agency Coordination Group against Trafficking in Persons should be invited to participate in Workshop 2 so as to share their experience in the area of Trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants.
31- وطلب الاجتماع أن يدعى الأعضاء في فريق التنسيق المشترك بين الوكالات في مجال مكافحة الاتِّجار بالأشخاص إلى المشاركة في حلقة العمل 2، لكي يتبادلوا تجاربهم ا في مجال الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين.

UNODC and the European Union Integrated Rule of Law Mission for Iraq jointly supported the Government of Iraq in delivering training and facilitating consultations on international cooperation in combating Trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, which were held in Baghdad in November 2013.
وتشارَك المكتبُ مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي المتكاملة المعنية بسيادة القانون في العراق في دعم الحكومة العراقية عبر توفير التدريب وتيسير الاستشارات في مجال التعاون الدولي على مكافحة الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين في بغداد في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2013.()

In particular, the Institute is responsible for the organization of workshop 2 of the Thirteenth Congress, on " Trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants: successes and challenges in criminalization, mutual legal assistance and in the effective protection of witnesses and trafficking victims " .
ويُذكر على وجه الخصوص، أنَّ المعهد مسؤول عن تنظيم حلقة العمل رقم 2 في إطار المؤتمر، عن موضوع " الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين: التجارب الناجحة والتحديات التي تواجه التجريم والمساعدة القانونية المتبادلة والحماية الفعالة للشهود وضحايا الاتِّجار " .

In a side event held during the twenty-third session of the Commission, UNODC and the European Union presented information on their joint cooperation in the area of trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants.
٨- وفي مناسبة جانبية عُقدت أثناء الدورة الثالثة والعشرين للجنة، قدَّم المكتب والاتحاد الأوروبي معلومات عن تعاونهما المشترك في مجال الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين.

Speakers highlighted the necessity of strengthening national institutions and initiatives to combat transnational organized crime, including trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants, as well as terrorism.
49- أبرز المتكلِّمون ضرورة تعزيز المؤسسات والمبادرات الوطنية الرامية إلى مكافحة الجريمة المنظَّمة عبر الوطنية، بما في ذلك الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين، وكذلك الإرهاب.

30. Activities to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience on international cooperation were also undertaken in the specific context of preventing and combating trafficking in persons and the smuggling of migrants. UNODC provided direct support for the sharing of information between source, transit and destination countries in the context of the Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime.
٣٠- واضطلع المكتبُ أيضاً بأنشطة بُغية تعزيز تبادُل المعارف والخبرات بشأن التعاون الدولي في سياق محدَّد هو مَنْع ومكافحة الاتِّجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين، حيث قدَّم الدعمَ المباشر لعملية تبادُل المعلومات بين بلدان المصْدَر والعبور والمقْصد في سياق مباحثات بالي بشأن تهريب الأشخاص والاتِّجار بهم وما يتصل بذلك من جرائم عبر وطنية.
