We believe that the General Assembly should consider carefully whether the activities supported by these resolutions represent the most effective use of United Nations resources in support of Palestinian needs.
ونحن نعتقد بأن الجمعية العامة ينبغي أن تنظر بعناية فيما إذا كانت اﻷنشطة التي تدعمها هـــذه القـــرارات تمثل أفضل استخدام لموارد اﻷمم المتحدة فــي تلبية الاحتياجات الفلسطينية.

7. The seminar had highlighted the fact that the ability to meet Palestinian needs while establishing a viable and effective administration in the area under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority was an essential stepping-stone in the struggle for self-determination.

وافتتحت الحلقة الدراسية بجلسة عامة عنوانها " بناء اقتصاد فلسطيني - التحديات والاحتمالات " ، أعقبتها ثلاث مناقشات حــول موضوع " إرسـاء أسس التنميـة الاقتصاديـة الفلسطينيـة " ، و " الاستثمار من أجل التنمية: الاحتياجات الفلسطينية والخيارات السياسية " و " التجارة من أجل التنمية: الاحتياجات الفلسطينية والخيـارات السياسية " . وقـد رحـب وفـد اللجنـة بالتعهـدات التـي قطعتها الجهــات
