4. As indicated in paragraphs 25 and 26 of the Pension Board's report, as at 31 December 1995, the actuarial imbalance is 1.46 per cent of the pensionable remuneration, a decrease of 0.03 per cent, as compared with the imbalance of 1.49 per cent of pensionable remuneration as at 31 December 1993.
٤ - وعلى النحو المبين في الفقرتين ٢٥ و ٢٦ من تقرير مجلس الصندوق المشترك، فإن الاختلال الاكتواري بلغ في ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٥ نسبة قدرها ١,٤٦ في المائة في اﻷجر الداخل في حساب المعاش التقاعدي، وهو ما يمثل نقصانا بنسبة ٠,٠٣ في المائة بالمقارنة بنسبة الاختلال في ٣١ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣ وقدرها ١,٤٩ في المائة من اﻷجر الداخل في حساب المعاش التقاعدي.

Thus, the Advisory Committee cautions that any change in the present cost-sharing arrangements between the Fund and its member organizations must not increase the actuarial imbalance of the Fund, which will eventually lead to increases in the contributions due from participants and organizations and, consequently, the amounts due from Member States (for the evolution of the actuarial imbalance of the Fund since 1980, see A/51/644, annex).
