Activities were implemented in the framework of the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to prevent sexual and gender-based violence and improve the response to victims.
ونُفِّذت أنشطة في إطار الاستراتيجية الشاملة لمكافحة العنف الجنسي والجنساني في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية، تهدف إلى منع العنف الجنسي والجنساني وتحسين الاستجابة للضحايا.

The Government has developed a strategy aimed at preventing, remedying and mitigating the effects of sexual violence in conflict areas that incorporates the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
واستنبطت الحكومة استراتيجية ترمي إلى منع آثار العنف الجنسي ومعالجتها والتخفيف من حدتها في مناطق النزاع، وهي تتضمن الاستراتيجية الشاملة لمكافحة العنف الجنسي في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية.

The Group is encouraged by the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, prepared by the Office of the Senior Adviser and Coordinator for Sexual Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which recommends the streamlining of coordination mechanisms including in the data collection phase.

In this connection, MONUC is developing an action plan for the next 12 to 24 months which includes priority actions to ensure the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating sexual violence which has been agreed with the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and partners.

13. MONUC will support the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence and its full integration into the Humanitarian Action Plan and the United Nations Security and Stabilization Support Strategy.

50. Over $5 million was allocated through the International Security and Stabilization Support Strategy to support the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence, of which $2.9 million was disbursed to United Nations agencies, funds and programmes.

It supports the work of the Special Representative of the SecretaryGeneral on Sexual Violence in Conflict, and encourages her to regularly interact with the Sexual Violence Unit of the Mission to coordinate United Nations response and monitor the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategy on Combating Sexual Violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

100 - كما تركز الاستراتيجية الشاملة لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكراهية الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب على تحسين مهارات الأخصائيين الاجتماعيين والمهنيين العاملين في مجال مناهضة التمييز.

31. The comprehensive strategy against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Forms of Intolerance was adopted on 4 November 2011.
31- اعتُمدت في 4 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2011 الاستراتيجية الشاملة لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب(22).

The work of the Office in these areas contributes to the implementation of the comprehensive strategy against terrorism presented by the Secretary-General in his report entitled " In larger freedom: towards development, security and human rights for all " .

The new Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling Section has been established in the Organized Crime and Illicit Trafficking Branch of UNODC to operationalize the comprehensive strategy to combat trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants.
