Chapter I agreed conclusions

The representative of the United States of America noted that the draft agreed conclusions submitted by the Group of 77 and China had not been discussed by the Commission.
135- ولاحظ ممثل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية أن مشروع الاستنتاجات المتَّفق عليها الذي قدمته مجموعــة ال77 والصين لم يخضع للنقاش من جانب اللجنة.

The representative of Greece, speaking on behalf of the European Union (EU), said that the EU objected to the submission of draft agreed conclusions by the Group of 77 and China, and had explained the reasons for its objection in the Bureau.
133- وقال ممثل اليونان، الذي تحدث نيابة عن الاتحاد الأوروبي، إن الاتحاد الأوروبي يعترض على تقديم مشروع الاستنتاجات المتَّفق عليها من جانب مجموعة ال77 والصين، وأنه سبق له شرح أسباب هذا الاعتراض في مكتب اللجنة.

7. Also, in paragraph 7 of the above-mentioned agreed conclusions, the Intergovernmental Group of Experts decided that UNCTAD should undertake further voluntary peer reviews of the competition law and policy of a member State or regional groupings of States during the fourteenth session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts.

5. In accordance with paragraph 6 of the agreed conclusions adopted by the Intergovernmental Group of Experts at its ninth session (contained in document TD/B/COM.2/CLP/72), the Group will consider the following issues at this session:

Also, in paragraph 2 of the above-mentioned agreed conclusions, the Intergovernmental Group of Experts decided that UNCTAD should undertake further voluntary peer reviews on competition law and policy of a member state or regional groupings of states, during the tenth session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts.

In paragraph 11 of the above-mentioned agreed conclusions, the Intergovernmental Group of Experts requested the secretariat to continue publishing as non-sessional documents and to include in its website further issues of the Handbook on Competition Legislation that contains commentaries on national competition legislation and provides the basis for further revision and updating of the Model Law.
8- وفي الفقرة 11 من الاستنتاجات المتَّفق عليها المذكورة أعلاه، طلب فريق الخبراء الحكومي الدولي من الأمانة أن تواصل نشر إصدارات أخرى من دليل تشريعات المنافسة كوثائق غير خاصة بالدورة، تتضمن تعليقات على التشريعات الوطنية المتعلقة بالمنافسة وتوفِّر الأساس لمواصلة تنقيح وتحديث القانون النموذجي وأن تدرج هذه الإصدارات على موقعها الشبكي.

Taking note with appreciation of the agreed conclusions of the fifty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women of 15 March 2013, in which, inter alia, the Commission urged all Governments to strengthen national legislation, where appropriate, to punish violent gender-related killing of women and girls and integrate specific mechanisms or policies to prevent, investigate and eradicate such deplorable forms of gender-based violence,
وإذ تأخذ في اعتبارها مع التقدير الاستنتاجات المتَّفق عليها للدورة السابعة والخمسين للجنة وضع المرأة المؤرَّخة 15 آذار/مارس 2013، التي حثَّت فيها اللجنةُ جميعَ الحكومات على تعزيز تشريعاتها الوطنية للمعاقبة على جرائم القتل العنيفة ذات الدوافع الجنسانية التي تتعرَّض لها النساء والفتيات وإدماج آليات أو سياسات محدَّدة ترمي إلى منع هذه الأشكال المؤسفة من العنف الجنساني والتحقيق فيها والقضاء عليها،

In paragraph 8 of the above-mentioned agreed conclusions, the Intergovernmental Group of Experts requested the secretariat to continue publishing as non-sessional documents and to include in its website further issues of the Handbook on Competition Legislation containing commentaries on national competition legislation providing the base for further revision and updating of the Model Law.
11- وفي الفقرة 8 من الاستنتاجات المتَّفق عليها المذكورة أعلاه، طلب الفريق من الأمانة أن تواصل نشر الوثائق التالية كوثائق غير خاصة بالدورة وأن تُدرج في موقعها على الإنترنت إصدارات أخرى من دليل تشريعات المنافسة، تتضمن تعليقات على التشريعات الوطنية المتعلقة بالمنافسة وتوفِّر الأساس من أجل مواصلة تنقيح وتحديث القانون النموذجي.

53. The representative of the United Kingdom made an observation with respect to point two of the draft agreed conclusions as circulated in the room. He said that while the current version read " Requests the secretariat to prepare a draft report containing proposals for revised United Nations Guidelines " , the previous language was " prepare a draft report containing a proposal for the revision of guidelines " .
53- وأدلى ممثل المملكة المتحدة بملاحظة فيما يتعلق بالنقطة الثانية من مشروع الاستنتاجات المتَّفق عليها الذي تم توزيعه في قاعة الاجتماع، فقال إنه بينما تنص الصيغة الحالية على أن " يطلب من الأمانة أن تعد مشروع تقرير يتضمن مقترحات لتنقيح مبادئ الأمم المتحدة التوجيهية " ، كانت الصيغة السابقة " أن تُعِدَّ مشروع تقرير يتضمن اقتراحاً لتنقيح المبادئ التوجيهية " .

81. In the agreed conclusions adopted at the fifty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women, the Commission urged governments to reiterate their commitment to improving access to timely, affordable and quality health care for women and girls and to ensuring the gender sensitivity of health policy and programming by encouraging the active participation of women and girls in its design and implementation.
