39- وردت الإشارة في بداية التقرير إلى حظر تجنيد الأطفال في القوات المسلحة العراقية، كما وردت الإشارة إلى حظر تجنيد الأطفال من أي فئة كانت أو جماعة مسلحة وتتسق التشريعات العراقية مع الاتفاقية وبروتوكوليها الاختياريين وتعمل على حماية الأطفال من كل أشكال الاستغلال بما في ذلك الاشتراك في المنازعات المسلحة.
