28. At the 4th meeting, the Chair summarized the progress achieved by the AWG-KP at the second part of its sixteenth session.

6. The Chair opened the fourth part of the sixteenth session of the AWG-KP on 29 November and welcomed all Parties and observers to the seventh plenary meeting of the session.

As agreed by the AWG-KP at its resumed ninth session, discussions on LULUCF under other matters will be held in parallel with the meetings of this group to the extent possible.

In this regard, the Chair intends to include in his proposal elements on all aspects of the work of the AWG-KP in the form a draft decision, aimed at substantially advancing the work of the group.

In addition, in response to a request by the AWG-KP at its eighth session, the Chair has revised annex I to the report on the eighth session of the AWG-KP on potential consequences to reflect input from the informal meeting in August.
