7. Requests the Special Rapporteur to undertake two missions to South Africa in 1994 to gain further insights into the whole process of transition to democracy in South Africa and to report to the Commission at its fifty-first session;
٧ ـ ترجو من المقررة الخاصة الاضطلاع ببعثتين إلى جنوب افريقيا في غضون ٤٩٩١ لزيادة التبصر في كامل عملية الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا وتقديم تقرير إلى اللجنة في دورتها الحادية والخمسين؛

1. This is the last of three reports by the Special Rapporteur on the transition to democracy in South Africa.

1. Expresses its appreciation to the Special Rapporteur for monitoring the transition to democracy in South Africa and for the important role she has played in support of the efforts to eliminate apartheid in South Africa and to establish a non-racial society in the country;
١- تعرب عن تقديرها للمقررة الخاصة لما قامت به من رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا وللدور الهام الذي قامت به في مساندة جهود القضاء على الفصل العنصري في جنوب أفريقيا وإقامة مجتمع لاعنصري في ذلك البلد؛

4. Decides to remove from its agenda, as of its fifty-second session, the item entitled " Monitoring and assisting the transition to democracy in South Africa " .
٤- تقرر أن تحذف من جدول أعمالها، اعتباراً من دورتها الثانية والخمسين، البند المعنون " رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا والمساعدة في هذه العملية " .

The Commission further decided to remove from its agenda, as of its fifty-second session, the item entitled " Monitoring and assisting the transition to democracy in South Africa " .
وقررت اللجنة كذلك أن تحذف من جدول أعمالها، اعتبارا من دورتها الثانية والخمسين، البند المعنون " رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا والمساعدة في هذه العملية " .

3. In pursuance of Subcommission resolution 1994/3, the Secretary-General is transmitting to the Subcommission the final report on monitoring the transition to democracy in South Africa prepared by the Special Rapporteur (E/CN.4/1995/24).
٣- وعملاً بقرار اللجنة الفرعية ٤٩٩١/٣، يحيل اﻷمين العام إلى اللجنة الفرعية التقرير النهائي الذي أعدته المقررة الخاصة عن رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا (E/CN.4/1995/24).

In the light of views expressed and impressions formed during the mission, the second report also outlined some of the obstacles in the way of the first multiracial elections and proffered a number of recommendations which not only addressed measures directed at overcoming the obstacles but offered inputs into the United Nations system's preparations for assisting the transition to democracy in South Africa.
وعلى ضوء اﻵراء المعبر عنها والانطباعات المكونة أثناء البعثة، أبرز التقرير الثاني أيضا بعض العوائق على طريق الانتخابات اﻷولى المتعددة اﻷعراق، وقدم بعض التوصيات التي لم تكن تتناول التدابير الموجهة للتغلب على العوائق وحسب، بل أيضا مدخلات في استعدادات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة للمساعدة على الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا.

9. Decides, in view of the changing situation in South Africa, to replace the agenda item entitled " Adverse consequences for the enjoyment of human rights of political, military, economic and other forms of assistance given to the racist and colonialist regime in South Africa " with an item entitled " Monitoring and assisting the transition to democracy in South Africa " ;
٩ ـ تقرر أن تستعيض، بالنظر إلى الوضع المتغير في جنوب أفريقيا، عن البند من جدول اﻷعمال الذي عنوانه " ما للمساعدات السياسية والعسكرية والاقتصادية وغيرها من أشكال المساعدة المقدمة إلى النظام العنصري والاستعماري في جنوب افريقيا من آثار ضارة بالتمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان " ببند عنوانه " رصد الانتقال إلى الديمقراطية في جنوب أفريقيا المساعدة عليه " ؛
